Root Center is hosting its first-ever Clinical Grand Rounds!

January 14, 2021

One of the core values of the Root Center for Advanced Recovery is “Embrace New Perspectives”. Continuing education and learning are a big part of it. We learn from our experiences, from each other, our colleagues, supervisors, and from specialists in our field and related areas. Our education is just beginning when we graduate from school. In clinical practice, our pursuit of learning can never stop, and it has no boundaries. It is truly rewarding to acquire new insight and to teach.

For the first time, as part of the agency’s on-going staff training curriculum, Root Center is offering a clinical Grand Rounds Series. This will be a series of in-house clinical lectures covering a range of topics important to our work. The topics for presentations have been selected for this year, and we are excited to expand the range of topics and expert speakers in the years to come! We invite staff to join us in this amazing growth opportunity! Together we can share knowledge, build skills, accomplish wonderful things! Please note that Root Center’s Clinical Grand Rounds is not open to the public at this time.

We also donated our oldest clinic to the city of Hartford, hosted a Community Forum, were featured on NBC CT, celebrated one year of being open in New Haven County, and much more!
