Stephen Fisher serves as Interim Chief Executive Officer of Root Center for Advanced Recovery. A dedicated member of the organization's Board of Directors for the past eight years, Stephen brings more than 37 years of senior executive leadership experience. Most recently, he served as Vice President and Senior Counsel at Aetna, where he provided strategic legal and business leadership.
Throughout his tenure on the Board, Stephen has been a steadfast advocate for Root Center's mission to improve the health and well-being of individuals and communities affected by substance use and mental health conditions. He has played an integral role in helping shape the organization's strategic direction, growth, and long-term vision, always guided by a deep commitment to expanding access to high-quality, compassionate care.
