Aliza Castro

CHIEF OPERATIONS OFFICER

Aliza brings more than 30 years of behavioral health leadership experience to Root Center for Advanced Recovery, with a background spanning clinical care, program administration, and operational oversight. As a member of the executive leadership team, she supports Root Center’s mission to provide compassionate, accessible mental health and substance use treatment.

Before joining Root Center, Aliza served as an Addiction Services Division Director at the Connecticut Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (DMHAS). In this role, she managed all clinical and administrative programs and functions for residential programs in Middletown and Hartford, including admissions, detoxification, and residential rehabilitation, serving 10,000 patients annually.
