Root Center To Host Documentary Screening at Parkade Cinemas

March is quickly approaching, and with it comes the celebration of Womens' History Month!
This year, to honor the strength and resilience of women, the Root Center will be hosting a screening of a new award winning documentary, Recovery City, featuring the powerful stories of four Massachusetts women battling substance use disorder and fighting for recovery. Join us at the Manchester Parkade Cinemas on March 20th for the 6 p.m. screening and 7:30 p.m. q&a segment with the Director and some of the women featured in the film!

Kristyn Zajac and Liz Narwold, medical researchers with University of Connecticut, talk about a recent study with Root Center Patients. The study looked at what metrics patients used to define their own success in their recovery, and how researchers can reflect on the data to inform future studies regarding patients in recovery.
