Root Center Honors Paul McLaughlin

On the evening of March 27th, the board of directors, colleagues, friends, and family honored former Chief Executive Officer Paul McLaughlin for his 35+ years of service to the agency, patients, and community. It was a truly inspiring agency event, highlighted by the unveiling of the sign renaming the agency’s headquarters the McLaughlin Center

Kristyn Zajac and Liz Narwold, medical researchers with University of Connecticut, talk about a recent study with Root Center Patients. The study looked at what metrics patients used to define their own success in their recovery, and how researchers can reflect on the data to inform future studies regarding patients in recovery.
Welcome 2026! Root Center has had a lot unfold since our last newsletter.
