Root Center’s Norwich Clinic Staff Attend Matt’s Mission Event

It was a great day for community outreach at Matt’s Mission. On September 8th, the Root Center for Advanced Recovery Staff from the Norwich Clinic attended the event, Matt’s Mission at the Veteran’s Park in Jewitt City, CT.
Matt’s Mission is a small organization of people who are active in trying to get information and resources out to the community for those in need of recovery services. The event included several speakers including someone from the police department, and several people who are successful in recovery.

The study looked at what metrics patients used to define their own success in their recovery, and how researchers can reflect on the data to inform future studies regarding patients in recovery.
Welcome 2026! Root Center has had a lot unfold since our last newsletter. Most recently, staff came together for our annual holiday party, a tradition we look forward to as an opportunity to come together and celebrate the hard work we've put forth over the past year. We also donated our oldest clinic to the city of Hartford, hosted a Community Forum, were featured on NBC CT, celebrated one year of being open in New Haven County, and much more!
