Supporting Our Nonprofit Community This Fall

This fall, Root Center for Advanced Recovery has been proud to support and celebrate nonprofit organizations across Connecticut whose work strengthens the communities we share.

From recovery support and behavioral healthcare to whole-person care and community-based services, nonprofits are making a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and families every day. This season, Root Center had the opportunity to join two of those organizations - SCADD and InterCommunity - in celebrating their missions, impact, and continued commitment to the people they serve.

SCADD: Unmasking Recovery

In September, Root Center joined the Southeastern Council on Alcoholism and Drug Dependence (SCADD) for its Unmasking Recovery Gala, celebrating 60 years of hope, healing, and recovery in Southeastern Connecticut.

For six decades, SCADD has supported individuals and families impacted by substance use through treatment, recovery support, housing, and connection. Root Center was proud to support this milestone as a Gold Sponsor and help celebrate the people, partnerships, and stories that have shaped SCADD's work throughout the region.

InterCommunity: Light Up the Night

In October, Root Center joined InterCommunity for its annual Light Up the Night Gala in Hartford. The event brought supporters together around InterCommunity's mission of expanding access to whole-person healthcare, including physical health, mental health, addiction recovery, residential treatment, school-based health services, and community support programs.

The evening highlighted the impact of InterCommunity's work and the partnerships that make that work possible for children, adults, and families throughout Greater Hartford and beyond.

Supporting fellow nonprofits is an important part of how Root Center strengthens relationships and invests in the communities we serve. We recognize that meaningful change doesn't happen through the work of one organization alone, and we're proud to stand alongside partners like SCADD and InterCommunity whose efforts make a lasting difference across Connecticut.

When organizations support one another, the impact reaches even further. We're proud to continue standing alongside organizations whose work strengthens communities across Connecticut.
