Root Center Hosts 3-Year Strategic Planning Retreat

April 18, 2023

In April, we had a great day at the beautiful Hill-Stead Museum in Farmington. Our Board of Directors, Executive Leadership Team, and Directors, all came together for a 3-year strategic planning retreat. We brainstormed ideas on how to continue to grow and improve the Root Center for Advanced Recovery in the years to come, and the future looks exciting!

“It was such an amazing day for me to bear witness to the immense knowledge and enthusiasm of our leadership and Board,” said Root CEO/President, Steven Zuckerman. “Everyone came together so cohesively to discuss the future of Root.”

We believe that coming together as a team helps strengthen our organization so that we can continue to better serve our clients, staff, and the future of recovery in the years to come.

Our Community Forum was a success! Burnout: More than Just Stress, was a wonderful, insightful, and at times even funny conversation about occupational and personal burnout, shifting legislature, personal coping strategies, systemic changes, the effect of burnout in children, and so much more! The Root Center is proud to offer free events like this as part of our Advanced Recovery Institute (ARI). The ARI is committed to research and training to elevate clinical care. It is our hope that by organizing these forums that we will help expand our understanding and awareness of topics that impact our communities.
