WTNH CH8 Features New Root Center Branford Clinic!

In the fall of 2024, Root Center opened its first clinic in New Haven County- Branford. We are so appreciative of WTNH CH 8 for featuring our new site! We loved showing Reporter, Jillian Andrews, around our newest facility and talking all about what do to provide high quality care to our clients every day. Our newest site in Branford is conveniently located inside of the Stony Creek Medical Center. This site serves both adolescents and adults. You can learn more about it here!

Kristyn Zajac and Liz Narwold, medical researchers with University of Connecticut, talk about a recent study with Root Center Patients. The study looked at what metrics patients used to define their own success in their recovery, and how researchers can reflect on the data to inform future studies regarding patients in recovery.
Welcome 2026! Root Center has had a lot unfold since our last newsletter. Most recently, staff came together for our annual holiday party, a tradition we look forward to as an opportunity to come together and celebrate the hard work we've put forth over the past year. We also donated our oldest clinic to the city of Hartford, hosted a Community Forum, were featured on NBC CT, celebrated one year of being open in New Haven County, and much more!
